In 2023, Naftogaz purchased 962 mcm of privately produced gas at UEEX

In 2023, the enterprises of the Naftogaz Group (Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC and Naftogaz Trading LLC) purchased 962 mcm of privately produced natural gas on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX). This was announced by the head of Naftogaz Oleksiy Chernyshov.

One may remember that in April Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC entered the Ukrainian Energy Exchange with purchases of Ukrainian-produced natural gas. The company's goal is to support private producers who were faced with difficulties in the sale of produced gas under the conditions of the export ban.

Already in November, Gas supply company Naftogaz Trading LLC entered the stock exchange instead of Naftogaz of Ukraine, which continued to buy Ukrainian natural gas.
