In 2018 Ukraine plans to auction 15 gas fields on the Black Sea Shelf for €50 mil

According to Derzhgeonadra's (State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine) Head Oleg Kyrylyuk, «the starting price of all lots for gas fields on the Black Sea Shelf is set at UAH 1.5 bil. The geological survey of every single field is paid separately, and the cost of all geological surveys of the Black Sea Shelf is priced at UAH 9 mil».

The projected volume of the Black Sea Shelf’s 9675.17 sq km fields of natural gas is estimated at 18 283.89 mil cbm.
