Hungarian MOL is ready to pay for the transit of Russian oil through Ukraine

The Hungarian oil and gas company MOL has announced that it has initiated negotiations to undertake the payment for the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline.

"Although the company has enough reserves for several weeks, it is constantly working on a solution and has initiated negotiations on assuming payment obligations," the company said.

As reported by ExPro, on August 4, PJSC Ukrtransnafta stopped the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba oil pipeline to Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic due to non-payment.
