Head of Ukrtransgaz Roman Malyutin visited UGS in the north of Ukraine

The head of Ukrtransgaz JSC (UTG) Roman Malyutin visited an underground storage facility in the north of Ukraine, the company's press service reports.

During the working visit, Roman Malyutin checked the gas injection process and the progress of preparations for the autumn-winter season.

"We are actively preparing for the next heating season. Checked the progress of the storage preparation for the successful passage of the next winter. Met with the UGS team and thanked them for their selfless professional work. Thanks to joint efforts, the gas storage facility continues to operate stably," said the head of UTG.

During the communication with the UGS team, Malyutin emphasized the issues of improving working conditions and the social protection of employees.

"People are our most valuable resource. Continuous training and improvement of working conditions of the company's personnel is one of my priority tasks. Our professionals are titans on whose shoulders the gas industry rests. Only in this way can we continue to develop the system of the largest operator of underground storage facilities in Europe," Roman Malyutin emphasized.

The head of the company also informed the underground team about the need to strengthen safety measures and constant training of employees in case of emergency situations.
