GTSOU restored natural gas supply to Vuglegirska TPP

Specialists of the Gas TSO of Ukraine LLC (GTSOU) resumed the transportation of natural gas to the Vuglegirska Thermal Power Plant (TPP) which was damaged as a result of Russia’s hostilities. This was reported by the company's press service. A day before, on March 18, 2022, the company repaired the gas pipeline to the Vuglegirska TPP, which was damaged by shelling. The Vuglegirska TPP t received a backup power supply.

"The gas pipeline to the GDL of the Vuglegirska TPP was damaged as a result of enemy shelling on March 10, 2022, but due to constant hostilities, specialists were only able to locate the damage," the company said.

After gaining access to the damaged area, the GTSOU’s specialists performed repair work in the shortest possible time - in two light days. Repair work on the gas pipeline was carried out by employees of Kramatorsk LVUMG together with colleagues of Zaporizhzhya LVUMG, under the direction of the chief engineer of Kramatorsk LVUMG Serhiy G.
