Geo-Nadra-Invest plans to drill 4 wells in the Hrabynska area

Geo-Nadra-Invest LLC plans to drill exploration wells Nos. 9, 10, 11, and 12 in the Hrabynska area order to explore gas deposits in the Mesozoic deposits. This was reported in the EIA Register on January 26, 2022, as well as in our periodicals for subscribers EXPRO Gas&Oil Daily PROCUREMENT and EXPRO Gas&Oil Weekly

For wells' construction, a drilling rig with diesel or electric drive with a capacity of up to 900 kW will be used. The maximum depth of the well is 1,500 m.

The drilling method is rotary, and it is planned to case the wellbore with high-pressure tubulars. In addition, tie-in of the wells provides for wellhead hook-up and laying gas pipelines, to the Bystrytske gas treatment plant at a distance of 10,000 m. The expected volume of natural gas production is 20-40 tcm a day.

It will be recalled that in July last year, the owner of Zakhidnadraservice, Zinovy Kozytsky, bought Geo-Nadra-Invest from Yaroslav Kryvoshei.

Preliminary intentions to develop the Hrabivska area, announced in June 2021, included the construction of 8 wells (Nos. 1-8) within the Hrabynska area. Drilling of these wells, according to the EIA Register report, was carried out using Ideco and DDE-804 drilling rigs. They are operated by Goryzonty Drilling Company LLC, which is also part of the Zakhidnadraservice Group.
