Gazprom reduced gas supplies to non-CIS countries by 31% in the 1H2022
According to the results of the 1H2022, Russia's Gazprom reduced natural gas supplies to non-CIS countries by 31% (or 31 bcm) to 68.9 bcm, the company's press service reports.
"Gazprom supplies gas according to confirmed orders," the Russian company added. One may remind, that on the eve of the German Uniper, which agreed to a new payment scheme for Russian gas in rubles, stated that it is not receiving about 50% of supplies from Gazprom and is forced to look for a resource on the spot market.
Gazprom notes that according to their estimates, global gas consumption in January-June 2022 decreased by 24 bcm. Natural gas consumption in EU countries decreased by 27 bcm.
Gazprom's natural gas production in the first six months of 2022 also decreased by 8.6% to 238.4 bcm.
