Gas reserves in the "customs warehouse" of Ukrainian UGS reached 3.32 bcm

On November 5, natural gas reserves in the "customs warehouse" of Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities reached 3.32 bcm, according to ExPro calculations. This is the highest level in the last two years - since October 2021.

Both Ukrainian and foreign companies have been actively injecting natural gas into the "customs warehouse" of Ukrainian UGS in recent months. In general, at the beginning of November, about 55 companies stored gas in the "customs warehouse".

"Customs warehouse" allows companies to store natural gas in Ukrainian UGS without paying customs fees for three years.

This year, the interest of foreign companies in gas storage in Ukraine has increased significantly compared to last year. This is connected both with record-full gas storage facilities in Europe and with the implementation of several events to attract foreigners to store gas in Ukraine.
