Gas prices for householders and heat producers will remain unchanged until the end of winter - Chernyshov

The prices of natural gas for the population and enterprises of the thermal utility will remain unchanged until the end of the winter, said Oleksiy Chernyshov, the chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC on the air of the telethon.

According to Chernyshov, Ukraine enters the autumn-winter season with a sufficient amount of gas in underground storages, maintaining a stable price policy.

"As for gas prices. Gas prices for householders and heat producers remain stable. They will not change until the end of winter. Therefore, I have to reassure the population in this regard, as well as the cities and enterprises of the thermal utility company," the head of Naftogaz stressed.

Chernyshov also noted that the preparation for the heating season was at an appropriate level.

As reported by ExPro, an increase in the electricity tariff for the population is not planned until at least the end of the heating season, noted Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko.
