Gas pipe in Kyiv was damaged as a result of a rocket attack by the Russian Federation

As a result of a large-scale Russian missile attack on the morning of January 2, a gas pipe was damaged in the Podilsky district of Kyiv. This was reported by the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.

According to the media, this morning Russia carried out one of the largest air attacks on the capital of Ukraine. Previously, from 6 to 8 in the morning, 11 Kynzhal missiles were fired at Kyiv, which were shot down by Ukrainian air defense.

The DTEK company announced that there was no light in part of the houses in the Shevchenkiv, Sviatoshyn, Holosiiv and Obolon districts of the capital.

During the night, the Air Force of Ukraine destroyed 35 attack UAVs of the Shahed type.
