For the first time, UGV independently repaired a foreign-made turbocompressor unit

The employees of Ukrgazvydobuvannya are increasing their technical competencies, in particular, regarding the maintenance of modern foreign equipment of foreign production.

In July of this year, the specialists of the Shebelynkagasvydobucannya branch for the first time carried out the repair of the turbocompressor unit, which was previously serviced exclusively by foreign specialists. Thanks to timely and high-quality work, gas losses in the amount of about 1 mcm per day, which the company suffered due to the downtime of the unit, were prevented.

According to UGV, representatives of the manufacturing company were unable to perform these works due to security restrictions related to the full-scale war and the proximity of the oil and gas industry to the front. However, they got involved online: they consulted Ukrgazvydobuvannya specialists and monitored the process and the correctness of operations.

"This is not the first case in almost a year and a half when Ukrgazvydobuvannya specialists master new technologies or competencies in order to perform service operations on their own, which foreign contractors cannot currently do in Ukraine. We are making every effort to adapt to the prevailing conditions and continue to develop gas production despite the war. At the same time, we thank our foreign partners, who, although remotely, provide us with great support and assistance," commented the acting general director of UGV Oleg Tolmachev.

Last year, employees of Ukrgazvydobuvannya underwent training at the base of the Solar Turbines company, which allows them to localize advanced Western technologies and develop the skills of Ukrgazvydobuvannya specialists.
