EU has expanded sanctions on supplies to Russia of equipment for oil production and LNG production

According to an annex to the EU Council resolution, the European Union has banned its companies from supplying Russia with cooling and liquefaction systems, equipment for the separation of hydrocarbons in LNG production and refining, and a wide range of chemical equipment for various refining stages. This is stated in the decision of the EU Council on the new fifth package of sanctions and annexes to this decision, published in the Official Journal of the EU.

"EU states are prohibited from selling, transferring or facilitating the direct or indirect acquisition of products and technologies used for oil refining and LNG production by any natural or legal person, company or organization in Russia or for use in Russia," the statement in an EU journal said
