ESKO-Pivnich plans to drill an exploration well No. 49 with a depth of 5,885 m at Karaykozivske field

ESKO-Pivnich intends to drill and arrange a directional exploration well No. 49 with a depth of 5,885 m at Karaykozivske OGCF This was reported in the EIA Register on January 27, 2022, as well as in our periodicals for subscribers EXPRO Gas&Oil Daily PROCUREMENT and EXPRO Gas&Oil Weekly

The design depth of the well is 5,885 m (TD). The use of an electric-driven SK-2000 rig is expected.

Upon receipt of the commercial inflow of hydrocarbons after the completion of the well, it is planned to equip the wellhead at well No. 49 with the casing head, X-mas tree, and shut-off valves, as well as other well equipment.

The well will be connected to the existing process facility (OGPTP at Karaykozivske OGCF) via a gas pipeline - a looping with an approximate length of 2,000 m.

It will be recalled that in December last year, Esko-Pivnich completed drilling of well No. 48 with a depth of 5,980 at the Karaykozivske field, using Service King (USA) SK 2000 drilling rig with a lifting capacity of 500 tons.
