Energy security is an integral component of President Zelenskyi's Peace Formula - Chernyshov

In fulfillment of the mandate of the President of Ukraine, a meeting was held with representatives of foreign diplomatic institutions regarding the implementation of Volodymyr Zelenskyi's Peace Formula.

The event was chaired by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal, with the participation of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, government officials and heads of specialized state-owned enterprises.

The main goal of the meeting is to join forces with international partners to protect the energy system of Ukraine on the eve of the new heating season and to diversify energy sources in Europe in the long term.

At the same time, Oleksiy Chernyshov informed those present about the current situation in the energy system and the company.

"Energy security is an integral part of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi's Peace Formula. The Naftogaz Group is already actively preparing for winter today, and is also cooperating with global energy companies regarding the placement of European fuel reserves in Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities — the largest on the continent," said Oleksiy Chernyshov.

He also emphasized that there is a lot of work ahead to restore and develop Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
