Energoatom will be able to work in 15 units in RAM for a short period

NNEGC Energoatom will be able to operate all 15 power units of Ukrainian NPPs for a short period in the autumn-winter period of 2021-2022. This was announced on October 18, 2021, by Petro Kotin, Acting President of the company.

"We guarantee work with 14 NPP units during the 2021-2022 heating season. We will also be able to work with even 15 NPP units for one week during December 2021 and a week in February 2022, but this will be a challenge for us to further reduce repair programs,” he said.

According to the Igor Murashov, Chief Engineer of Zaporizhzhia NPP (ZNPP), NPP Unit № 2 of the ZNPP is planned to be taken out of repair and connected to the grid on December 3, 2021, and the NPP unit №4 - on November 21, 2021.

He added that ZNPP would operate in 6 units from the beginning of December 1, 2021, until March 1, 2022.
