Energoatom operates with full capacity - 9 power units

"Energoatom" connected the last ninth power unit of the NPP to the grid. From now on, all power units located on the territory controlled by Ukraine are operating at full capacity, Energoatom reported.

"The large-scale repair campaign at nuclear power plants, which lasted for several months, was completed even before the onset of winter and frost. And this is extremely important, because it is nuclear generation that provides more than 55% of the country's electricity needs. This is the most sustainable and stable generation that enabled our power system to survive last winter. And I am sure: this will be the case this heating season as well," said Herman Galushchenko.
