"Energoatom" increased electricity production in January by 20% - to 5.8 billion kWh

In January, the Ukrainian nuclear power plants of "Energoatom" increased the production of electricity by 20% - up to 5.88 billion kWh.

"Thanks to the large-scale repair campaign carried out in the summer and autumn of last year, during the winter Energoatom was able to operate all nine power units located on the territory controlled by Ukraine," Energoatom reported.

According to ExPro, in general, in January 2024, electricity production increased by 22% - to 11.1 billion kWh. The share of nuclear power plants in the structure of production last month was 52%.
