Energoatom has paid UAH 69 billion for PSO for households since the beginning of the year

In 2025, NNEGC Energoatom continues to fully fulfill its special obligations to ensure the availability of electricity for household consumers (PSO). Since the beginning of the year, Energoatom has paid UAH 69.24 billion (including VAT) for the PSO service.

By periods:

• 17 billion 101 million UAH – 100% of the cost of the PSO service in January 2025 (of which UAH 8 billion 433 million – in December 2024);
• 17 billion 71 million UAH – 100% of the cost of the PSO service in February 2025;
• 16 billion 696 million UAH – 100% of the cost of the PSO service in March 2025;
• 15 billion 391 million UAH – 100% of the cost of the PSO service in April 2025;
• UAH 10 billion 446 million – 80% of the projected cost of the PSO service in May 2025.

“Energoatom is working effectively and continues to fulfill special obligations, guaranteeing the availability of electricity for the population. The company not only ensures the stability of the Ukrainian energy system, but also supports Ukrainian families in today's difficult conditions,” emphasized Petro Kotin, head of NNEGC.

The projected cost of the PSO service, according to the draft financial plan of JSC NNEGC Energoatom, in 2025 is UAH 161.87 billion (including VAT).

As the company specified, in 2024 Energoatom paid UAH 145 billion 356 million (including VAT) for the PSO service. In particular, 100% of the PSO service for 2024 was paid, which is UAH 128 billion 303 million, and the debt for the PSO service of previous years was repaid - UAH 17 billion 53 million.
