Energoatom has made and will enlarge its nuclear fuel stock inventory
The SE NNEGC "Energoatom" in cooperation with major global producer of nuclear fuels and supplier to the six NPPs in Ukraine, the Westinghouse company, have created a year-long nuclear fuel stock inventory, and plan to enlarge it to optimum volumes, as said on June 12, 2018, by Energoatom’s President Yuriy Nedashkovskyi.
“We have created a one-year stock of nuclear fuels, that in accordance with special provisions of our contract with Westinghouse will secure nuclear fuel supply to our NPPs despite any possible force majeure circumstances. We will continue to enlarge such reserves to reach the optimal volumes”, said Mr Nedashkovskyi.
