Energoatom and Sense Bank signed a Memorandum on financing the completion of Khmelnytskyi NPP-3,4

Head of JSC NNEGC Energoatom Petro Kotin and Chairman of the Board of JSC Sense Bank Oleksiy Stupak signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to increase nuclear capacity in Ukraine, in particular the completion of the Khmelnytskyi NPP units.

As noted in Energoatom, the parties will cooperate on organizing financing for the purchase of equipment from the Bulgarian Belene NPP, necessary for the completion of power units No. 3 and No. 4 at the Khmelnytskyi NPP.

“In the context of constant enemy attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, the completion of power units at the Khmelnytskyi NPP will not only significantly strengthen our energy grid, but will also enable the Ukrainian economy to operate effectively during post-war reconstruction. And the signing of today’s Memorandum is evidence of our readiness to work together to ensure a stable future for Ukraine with clean, affordable electricity!” – said Petro Kotin.

According to the document, Sense Bank will invite other banks to cooperate in organizing financing for the necessary equipment.
