Electricity imports in November decreased by 9.4%
Electricity imports in November 2024 decreased by 9.4%, compared to the previous month, to almost 165 thousand MWh, according to the ExPro Electricity monitoring data.
The largest volume of supplies decreased in the Hungarian and Moldovan directions - by 44%. At the same time, electricity imports from Poland doubled - to more than 40 thousand MWh.
The largest share in the import structure in November was occupied by Slovakia, with 33%, in second place - Poland, with 25%.
The highest daily import was on November 1, 12 thousand MWh, and the lowest - on November 10, 1 thousand MWh.
The average hourly import of electricity in November during the "evening peak" hours was 470 MW, which is 27.6% of the total technical capacity (in 1700 MW).
