Electricity from NPP accounted for 25% of the sales structure on the DAM/IDM in October 2024

Electricity generated at nuclear power plants accounted for 25.6% of the sales structure on the day-ahead and intraday markets in October 2024. This is evidenced by data published by JSC "Market Operator".

Import on the spot market

In October, 51.3 thousand MWh of electricity of imported origin were sold on the spot market segments, which accounts for up to 30% of total imports in the corresponding month.

About previous year

In October 2023, the structure of sales in short-term market segments was somewhat different, but nuclear fuel as an energy source also took 25.7%. The share of coal was higher - 13.3% versus 8.14% this year. The share of solar energy was also higher - 13.54% versus 10.32%.

However, the total volume of electricity sales on the DAM and IDM in October 2024 was 33% less than this year's figure.
