Duncan Nightingale elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz

The Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine at its meeting on March 12, 2026, elected Duncan James Nightingale as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, ExPro reports.

Duncan Nightingale is a Canadian expert with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing in upstream operations management and strategic development of energy assets.

He has experience working in Ukraine as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ukrnafta, where he implemented OECD corporate governance practices and strengthened internal control systems.

In recent years, he also served as Chairman of the Board of Blacksteel Energy Inc. and Senior Advisor to the CEO of Octavia Energy.

As previously reported by ExPro, the government appointed a new Supervisory Board of Naftogaz consisting of six members, including four independent members and two state representatives.
