D.TRADING has signed a contract with MHP for guarantees of origin

D.TRADING has signed a contract with Vinnytsia Poultry Farm PJSC (MHP) for the sale of 10 thousand MWh of guarantees of origin of electricity from renewable sources (RES). The supply of certificates will take place in the second quarter of 2025. This was reported by the company's press service.

“The acquisition of guarantees of origin allows the company to officially confirm the consumption of electricity from renewable sources in accordance with European Union standards. D.TRADING acted as a supplier of guarantees registered in the official register and provided full legal and technical support for the transaction,” D.TRADING indicates.

“The demand for verified decarbonization mechanisms from Ukrainian business is growing steadily. "Guarantees of origin are one of such tools that are already actively used in Europe, and are now being increasingly implemented in Ukraine," comments Roman Bekuzarov, Deputy Commercial Director of D.TRADING.

As previously reported, KNAUF GIPS KYIV, which is part of the German Knauf Group, has purchased guarantees of origin for electricity on the Ukrainian market. D.TRADING became the electricity supplier that accompanied this transaction.
