”D.Trading” has signed a contract with Elementum Energy for 18 thousand MWh of GOs from RES

D.Trading, which is part of the private energy holding DTEK, has signed an agreement with Elementum Energy for the purchase of 18 thousand MWh of guarantees of origin of electricity generated from renewable sources. This was reported by the press service.

“This is another agreement of the company within the framework of the new mechanism of guarantees of origin, which started at the end of 2024. Under the contract, D.Trading will receive certificates for 18 thousand MWh of “green” electricity in 2025 — this is approximately as much as a large industrial enterprise consumes in 5–7 months,” comments D.Trading.

As the company comments, such an agreement is more than just a step in the market. This is a real contribution to the climate goals of Ukraine and Europe.
