DTEK Renewables has not yet received a penny on debts from funds raised from Ukrenergo Eurobonds - Kunitskis

The company-investor in renewable energy sources DTEK Renewables has not yet received any payment on the debt from the State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer from the funds raised from the Eurobonds issued and sold by the NEC Ukrenergo.

This was announced on November 15, 2021,, by DTEK Renewables Director Maris Kunitskis in response to a question from an ExPro correspondent.

"At the moment, I receive information from our financial service, we have not transferred a single penny from the debt from last year and this year. The debt before us has not yet begun to be repaid, " Kunitskis said.

Kunitskis also explained that last year the amount of debt was about 65 million euros.

"For 2021, the Ukrenergo tariff does not provide for funds, if nothing changes by the end of the year, it will be another 50 million euros," he added.
