DTEK Naftogaz has set a new record in private gas production in Ukraine – 1.84 bcm in 2020

Production LLC in 2020 increased production by 11%, to 1.84 bcm of natural gas, compared to the previous year's figures, which was a new record for both the company and the entire private gas production in Ukraine, the company's press service reports.

The company increased production due to the completion of four high-rate wells at the Machukhske field, intensification in the wells of the existing inventory, and the introduction of advanced technologies throughout the entire technological chain. Besides, DTEK Naftogaz has completed a major infrastructure project and commissioned booster compressor stations that will increase the efficiency of Semyrenkivske field development.

The company is working to increase its resource and reserve base and the further increase of hydrocarbon production in compliance with its growth strategy. DTEK Naftogaz won an open competition and purchased a special subsoil use permit for the Budyschansko-Chutivska area. A production sharing agreement (PSA) was also signed for the Zinkivska area.

Igor Shchurov, CEO of DTEK Naftogaz, noted that last year the company's investments amounted to UAH 3 billion.
