DTEK has already restored 50% of the capacity of the deoccupied Trifonivska HPP

The DTEK Renewables company has already restored 50% of the capacity of the deoccupied Trifonivska HPP in the Kherson region. This was reported in the press center of the company.

"DTEK RES specialists continue to restore the Trifonivska SPP damaged during the occupation. Thanks to their efforts, it has already been possible to restore 50% of the station's capacity. Currently, the SES can generate 5 MW from its installed capacity of 10 MW," the company says.

At the same time, the company emphasizes that the solar power plant still has network restrictions on output power in the amount of 2 MW. This is due to the need to complete repair work at the Khersonoblenergo substation.

"DTEK specialists offered their help to speed up this process," the company added.

ExPro reference, Trifonivska SPP was opened in September 2017. According to the Kherson Regional State Administration, the project was implemented within the framework of the memorandum on cooperation between the Regional State Administration and the DTEK company. Ukrgasbank also participated in the construction of the station, providing an eco-credit in the amount of 7.1 million euros. The Trifonivska solar power plant was installed in record time - in 5 months. The station consists of 37 thousand solar panels of the Chinese company JA Solar. The rest of the equipment, except panels and inverters, was produced in Ukraine. SPP was liberated from Russian occupiers at the end of November 2022.
