DTEK Energo launched 28 new lines at mines in 2022

28 new lines were commissioned at DTEK Energo's mines in 2022.

This was reported in the press centre of DTEK Energo.

"In war conditions, DTEK Energo's mines are operating at maximum capacity to maintain the reliability of the Ukrainian energy system to meet the coal needs of thermal power plants. For this, 28 new lines were commissioned by the company's coal enterprises in 2022," DTEK said.

Also, last year DTEK shipped 120 thousand tons of coal to state-owned thermal power plants.

"Ukraine is experiencing the hardest winter in history. Massive enemy attacks on civil and energy infrastructure facilities are a striking confirmation of this. However, power engineers are doing everything possible to minimise the consequences of these attacks, and resume work as quickly as possible. No less important is the work of our miners, who, despite the war, support Ukrainian thermal power plants with the necessary amount of fuel. And this is the key to light and heat in the homes of Ukrainians," Ildar Saleev, CEO of DTEK Energo, commented.
