Donetskoblgaz conducts an inspection of gas pipelines with the RMLD laser device

Specialists of Donetskoblgaz JSC, which is part of the Naftogaz Group, are improving their work and using innovative technologies. Gas workers of the network service conduct regular inspections of gas pipelines with the RMLD (Remote Methane Leak Detector) laser device.

RMLD detects minor methane leaks at a fairly large distance from the source. Thanks to the optical system, the laser detector works at a distance of up to 30 meters.

Therefore, Donetskoblgaz specialists quickly identify and localize potentially dangerous situations related to gas leaks. This reduces the risk of accidents.

The occupiers continue to cause significant damage to Donetskoblgaz gas networks, so this tool is indispensable in their work.
