Despite the war, Lvivgazvydobuvannya increased gas production by 2.5% in 2022

Lvivgazvydobuvannya, which is the western branch of Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC, in the conditions of a full-scale war, increased the production of natural gas by more than 2.5%. This was reported by the chief engineer of Lvivgazvydobuvannya Rostyslav Lylo for Leopolis.news.

"All shops of Lvivgazvydobuvannya finished last year with a positive result. For this, everyone at the workplace did everything they could. This is a joint result," says Lilo.

One of the victories of the engineer is the commissioning of a new booster compressor station (BCS) in the Carpathians. As well as the launch of our own gas drying system in the Carpathian region, which made it possible to supply the system with gas that meets international standards.

Lvivgazvydobuvannya is also increasing the volume of drilling. In 2023, a significant increase in gas production from new wells is expected. "The geological models of deposits are being clarified for the selection of candidate wells for drilling. A whole series of geological studies are planned for those deposits that we have under development," Lilo said.

According to ExPro calculations, Lvivgazvydobuvannya produced almost 800 mcm of natural gas in 2022, 3% more than in 2021. Lvivgazvydobuvannya remains the largest gas production company in Western Ukraine.
