Debt to NPC "Ukrenergo" on the balancing market exceeded UAH 34 billion

Indebtedness to the system operator NPC "Ukrenergo" on the balancing market exceeded the mark of UAH 34.3 billion. In 9 months of 2024, debts increased by 11.4%. This is evidenced by ExPro calculations based on data published by Ukrenergo.

At the same time, in 9 months of this year, Ukrenergo's debt to market participants decreased by 12% to UAH 16.2 billion.

As of September 10, the debt structure of market participants is as follows:

• with the parties responsible for the balance - UAH 33.876 billion;

• with balancing service providers - 447.4 thousand million.

The structure of Ukrenergo's debt to market participants:

• with the parties responsible for the balance - UAH 3.21 billion;

• with balancing service providers - 13 million million.
