Consideration of the decision to change price caps on the balancing market has been postponed. The relevant project of the resolution was planned to be considered at the meeting of the NEURC on March 27, reports ExPro.

"Given the situation that occurred due to the mass shootings, this has an impact on the current situation in the balancing market. In order to assess the state of the balancing market, we ask to postpone the consideration of the issue to a later period", - said the representative of "Ukrenergo" at the meeting of the Commission.

As previously reported, the Regulator proposed to set the maximum price limit on the balancing market at the level of UAH 8,250/MWh from April 1, the draft resolution was open to discussion.
