CMU obliges Naftogaz to supply gas for DH companies at UAH 7.42 per cubic meter until the end of July 2022

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (CMU) has assigned special responsibilities to the Gas Supply Company Naftogaz Trading LLC and the Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine LLC, according to which companies undertake to supply natural gas to district heating (DH) under current long-term contracts at the price of UAH 7,420 UAH/tcm. This was stated in the CMU's Resolution №637 of May 31, 2022.

Special obligations and the price of 7 420 UAH/tcm will be valid for the next 2 months, i.e. from June 1 to July 31, 2022.

To obtain natural gas at the special price, the heat producer needs to terminate the current contract for the supply of natural gas with the Gas Supply Company Naftogaz Trading LLC already concluded for 2021-2024. Then the companies must sign a new contract for the period June-July 2022.

The NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine undertakes to sell the required volumes of natural gas to the Gas Supply Company Naftogaz Trading LLC at the price of 7 420 UAH/tcm.
