Centerenergo has already paid UAH 28 million for subsidized gas for the TPP

The state company "Centrenergo" has already made the first payment of UAH 28 million for preferential natural gas for electricity generation at the TPP.

PJSC "Centrenergo" has already started calculations for consumed natural gas within the limits of PSO. Yesterday (ed. - 11.01.2023) the first payment in the amount of UAH 28 million was made," Centerenergo reported.

The company also informed about the work of the Trypilska TPP in the Kyiv region.

According to "Centrenergo", the Trypilska TPP continues its uninterrupted operation in regular mode, the supply of natural gas to the Trypilska TPP has not stopped during the last three months.

"The selection of natural gas from the gas distribution system takes place exclusively within the framework of the current contracts with the LLC "Gas Supply Company "Naftogaz Trading" and the corresponding legislation. In addition, in order to avoid a crisis situation, the issue of gas supply for Centerenergo PJSC is generally regulated by relevant special Resolutions of the CMU, in particular No. 222, No. 1416, No. 812," the company's press center reports.

Thermal power plants that are part of PJSC "Centrenergo" have the possibility of uninterrupted gas supply for the period until April 30, 2023.

As reported in ExPro, "Naftogaz Trading" in January 2023 entered into agreements on the supply of natural gas to Trypilska, Zmiivska and Slovyanska TPPs until January 31, 2023.

GC "Naftogaz Trading" will supply natural gas not only to thermal power plants, but also to thermal power plants on the basis of natural gas supply contracts at the following prices:

• for thermal power plants that produce electrical energy in the heating cycle - 16,500 UAH/thousand cubic meters (including VAT);
• for thermal power plants and thermal power plants that produce electrical energy in the condensation cycle - 10,950 hryvnias/thousand cubic meters (including VAT).

Earlier, the ex-director of GTSOU, Serhiy Makogon, reported that the Trypilska TPP continues to take natural gas from the system without authorization, as Naftogaz refuses to supply it with natural gas.
