Burisma Group Increases Well Efficiency and Launches New Gas Pipeline
Burisma Group is completing construction of a new gas pipeline Vodyane-Zhuravlynа that will increase well productivity on the Vodyanivske field. This pipeline will be more than 9.5 km long with capacity of 3 million cubic meters of gas per day.
In order to increase the efficiency of operations and well productivity, the Group continues implementing intensification programs. Since the beginning of 2018, successful fracturing operations have been carried out at wells #4 and #10 at the Rakytnyanske field, and at well #2 at the Boryslavske field.
“Three hydraulic fracturing operations were successfully carried out this year. This allowed us to increase the daily inflow in these wells by several times. By the end of the year, the Group is planning to implement 4 more hydrofracturing operations at its fields. We have also conducted acid treatment of well #4 at Vodyanivske field and got an increase in daily production rate from 70 thousand to 260 thousand cubic meters,” said Burisma Group CEO Taras Burdeynyi.
To improve profitability of its operations, the Group acquired new equipment – a coiled tubing unit from NOV Hydra Rig.
“We invested more than UAH 100 million into new equipment. It gives us complete independence in performing well stimulation and development, as well as drilling and overhaul,” said Taras Burdeynyi.
