BES detectives conduct searches in the head office of Kyivteploenergo

Detectives of the Territorial Administration of the Bureau of Economic Security in Kyiv and the Kyiv region are conducting searches in the main office of the utility company "Kyivteploenergo" in connection with the conclusions of the audit of the State Audit Service of Ukraine. This was reported by the press center of the utility company.

"Today, February 23, 2023, detectives of the Territorial Administration of the Bureau of Economic Security in Kyiv and Kyiv region began searches in the head office of the Kyivteploenergo utility company." The reason for the searches was the request of the detectives to search the enterprise in connection with the conclusions of the audit of the State Audit Service of Ukraine (SASU), which was partially satisfied by the Solomyansk District Court of Kyiv, Kyivteploenergo reports.

As the company reported, at the beginning of this year, Kyivteploenergo filed a lawsuit against the State Audit Service due to violations during the audit, unfounded conclusions and a formal approach. The utility company considers the auditors' conclusions unfounded, because they are based not on the analysis of documentation or actual work, but on subjective, undocumented assessments, taken mainly from media sources.

"Kyivteploenergo" adds that the company does not interfere with searches and voluntarily provides the BES detectives with the requested information and documents.

"And the utility company will defend its rights to professionally substantiated and unbiased conclusions of the audit in court," the company said.
