ARMA wants to take Glusco gas stations from Ukrnafta and hold a new competition

The Agency for Search and Management of Assets (ARMA) initiated before the Cabinet of Ministers the cancellation of orders and the termination of contracts with Ukrnafta PJSC, which manages the seized assets of the Glusco gas station network, which was linked to Viktor Medvedchuk, and the assets of Russian Tatneft. This is stated in the message of the agency.

The main reason for the termination of the management contract is Ukrnafta's refusal to sign the acts of acceptance and transfer of the assets of the gas station.

During the last three months, ARMA sent official letters to Ukrnafta with a demand to sign acceptance-transfer acts for gas station property complexes, which the state-owned company did not agree to, according to ARMA.

ARMA also adds that the National Agency's request to the State Tax Service received replies confirming the supply of oil products to the seized gas stations from both Ukrnafta and other structures on the market.

ARMA and Ukrnafta could not sign the acts of acceptance and transfer of corporate rights due to the need to obtain a concentration permit from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. ARMA states that officials of Ukrnafta delayed the submission of relevant documents to AMCU. AMCU can consider this decision for up to six months.

According to ARMA, there is no better option than holding an independent, transparent competition.

It will be recalled that after the National Agency found the management of the Glusco gas stations by the Naftogaz Oil Trading company ineffective, the seized assets were transferred to the management of Ukrnafta in September 2023 and a corresponding agreement was concluded.
