ARMA terminated the contract with Naftogaz regarding the management of seized Glusco gas stations

On the evening of August 3, the National Agency of Ukraine for Identification, Search, and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) announced the unilateral termination of the contract for the management of seized assets of the Glusco gas station network with the manager - Naftogaz Oil Trading LLC.

The reason for the termination of the contract in ARMA is the provision of unreliable information about income from asset management, which has a negative impact on the volume of management revenues that are subject to transfer to the budget, as well as a violation of the deadlines for submitting reports to ARMA. Violations were discovered because of chamber inspections.

Termination of contracts with Naftogaz Oil Trading takes effect from the day of publication of the announcement, that is, from August 3, 2023. Naftogaz Oil Trading sent the relevant letters about the termination of ARMA contracts.

ARMA also urgently informed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of the need to identify a new asset manager.
