60% of receivers of the Kherson thermal power plant received heat - Naftogaz

60% of subscribers who receive heat from the local CHP in de-occupied Kherson have already received heat. This was reported by the Naftogaz press service.

The municipal services of the city continue to repair the networks in order to supply heating to the rest of the houses.

"Despite shelling and constant power outages, specialists are returning heat to de-occupied Kherson with titanic efforts. All of them risk their lives and health every day, because energy infrastructure facilities, as you know, are under the enemy's special sights. Understanding the scale of network destruction and the general situation in the city, I can say that this is heroic work. Thanks to all the specialists, in particular, the employees of Naftogaz Teplo, who today are bringing life back to the liberated city. Your contribution is very important," said Oleksiy Chernyshov, chairman of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

According to Naftogaz, due to the significant destruction of networks in most microdistricts of the city, it is extremely difficult to restore the supply to all homes at once, but the city's utility services are working on providing heat 24/7.

"Thank you for the cooperation of Kherson Regional Military Administration, which contributed to the process of launching the coolant. Now the main work falls on the shoulders of communal services, which are responsible for repairing networks and ensuring the supply of heat to residents' homes," Oleksiy Chernyshov added.
