1.8 million tons of coal were delivered toTPPs, of which 22% were imported In December 2021

In December 2021, 1.842 million tons of coal were delivered to the thermal Power plant, of which 78% (1.44 million tons) of Ukrainian origin and 22% (402 000 tons) – imported, as stated by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

According to the Ministry of Energy, a total of 1.33 million tons of coal was delivered to DTEK's private energy holding in December 2021, of which 17.5% was imported. At the same time, a total of 342000 tons of coal was delivered at the station of the PJSC Centrenergo, of which 152 000 tons (44.5%) were imported.

The PJSC Centrenergo bought coal in December 2021 from Poland (by rail), Australia ,and Colombia (by sea). The cost of delivery of a ton of coal from Australia, including delivery, is about 200.00 $/ton.
