Zakhidnadraservice plans to drill 7 wells in the Dibrovska section of the Uhnivska PSA

Well Co LLC, part of Zakhidnadraservice Group, plans to drill exploration and appraisal wells #12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 within the Dibrovska section of Uhnivska area (Lviv region, Stryi district), which was provided to the company under the terms of production sharing agreement (PSA). This was reported in EIA Register on December 8, 2021

For the construction of the wells it is planned to use a drilling rig with diesel or power drive and a capacity of up to 900 kW. The maximum well depth is 2,200 m. The drilling method is rotary. The expected volume of natural gas production is 20-80 tcm a day. The planned activities also include connecting the wells, hook-up of the wellheads, and laying gas flowlines to GTP-Kholodnytske gas treatment plant at a distance of up to 10,000 m.

Zakhidnadraservice noted that on the Dibrovska section, 3D seismic survey with a scope of 55 sq. km. was completed, and the acquired data were processed and interpreted.

Zakhidnadraservice Group won the PSA competition for the development of the Uhnivska area in July 2019. To participate in the competition, Well Co LLC was established - a company that ensures the fulfilment of all commitments under this agreement.

Uhnivska area is located on the territory of the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, with acreage of 967.44 sq.km. It is divided into six separate promising sections: Uhnivska 1, Uhnivska 2 (Lypnykivska), Uhnivska 3 (Tysovetska), Uhnivska 4 (Dibrovska), Uhnivska 5 (Tershakivska), and Uhnivska 6 (Sadzhavska).
