Yevgen Buzykin appointed head of the communications department at Ukrgasvydobuvannya

Yevgen Buzykin has been appointed head of the Communications Department at Ukrgasvydobuvannya, part of the Naftogaz Group. This was reported by NaftoRynok.

Buzykin started work in his new position at UGV on January 5, 2026. He replaced Yuliia Pidkomorna, who had been responsible for communications at Ukrgasvydobuvannya for more than two years and was dismissed at the end of November 2025.

Who is Yevgen Buzykin

Yevgen Buzykin studied at Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University. He previously worked in communications at tobacco products distributor Tedis, formerly Megapolis-Ukraine, as well as within SCM structures and Interpipe.

Most recently, Buzykin held the position of head of corporate communications at the GTS Operator of Ukraine.
