What price caps were offered by the Energy Market Department?

The Department of the Energy Market proposes to set the following limit prices on the day-ahead and intraday markets: 00:00-07:00, 23:00-24:00 - 3000 UAH/MW*h; 07:00-08:00, 11:00-17:00, 22:00-23:00 - 5600 UAH/MW*h; 08:00-11:00 - 6900 UAH/MW*h; 17:00-22:00 - 7500 UAH/MW*h.

This is known based on the results of an open discussion, reports ExPro.

It is proposed to leave the minimum marginal prices at the previous level, similarly to the marginal prices in the balancing market. The respective limit prices can be implemented in the market from November 10. As the Director of the Energy Market Department Ilya Sidorov pointed out, soon the relevant project of the resolution will be brought to the meeting of the Commission, roughly on November 7.

As previously reported, the NEURC has launched a regulatory procedure for changing the maximum price limits.
