Vladyslav Medvediev appointed new Head of GTS Operator of Ukraine
As of April 10, the duties of General Director of Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC (GTSOU) have been temporarily assigned to Vladyslav Medvediev, the company’s Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Management Board.
Medvediev will serve as Acting General Director of GTSOU until the completion of a competitive selection process conducted according to the procedure established by the Supervisory Board. As a reminder, Dmytro Lyppa submitted his resignation at the end of the heating season.

“This decision was made by the Supervisory Board of GTSOU at a meeting held on April 4 at one of the company’s production facilities, to ensure business continuity and maintain the functionality of the executive body (Management Board),” the company said in a statement.
Also, as of April 10, by resolution of the Supervisory Board, Borys Liubych, Director of Procurement, was appointed to the GTSOU Management Board.
Who is Vladyslav Medvediev?
Vladyslav Medvediev has been with Gas TSO of Ukraine since October 2020, initially serving as Director for Transformation and Operational Efficiency. Since June 2024, he has held the position of Chief Operating Officer and is a member of the Management Board.
Before joining GTSOU, Medvediev held various roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he was responsible for working with clients in the oil and gas sector. He holds a degree in economics with honors from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
