Vitaliy Antonov from OKKO to acquire a stake in one of Zakhidnadraservice's gas production companies
On November 7, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine will consider an application for permission for VI.AN Holding Limited (Cyprus) of Vitaliy Antonov (founder of OKKO Group) to acquire a share in the authorized capital of Bystrytske Invest LLC of Zinoviy Kozytskiy (founder of Zakhidnadraservice Group), which ensures exceeding 50% of the votes in the company's supreme management body. This is reported by Nadra.Info with reference to the AMCU agenda.
In a comment to Nadra.Info, Zinoviy Kozytskiy confirmed the sale of his stake in Bystrytske Invest. However, Kozytskiy remains a shareholder of the company, and operational management will be joint. Subject to the AMCU's approval, the parties plan to complete the transaction by the end of 2024. The transaction value was not disclosed.
The sole owner of Bystrytske Invest, according to YouControl, is Zinoviy Kozytskiy. The company's CEO is Stepan Kozytskiy. The company was founded in June 2024.
According to Nadra.Info, Bystrytske Invest holds the only valid special subsoil permit No. 4779 for geological exploration with pilot development and further production of hydrocarbons at the Bystrytska oil and gas condensate field in Lviv region. The original holder of the special permit was Zakhidnadraservice LLC, which alienated the right to use subsoil in favor of Bystrytske Invest.
Zakhidnadraservice Group is one of the largest private gas producers in Ukraine, focusing mainly on the west of the country. According to ExPro estimates, in 2023, Zakhidnadraservice produced about 265 mcm of natural gas. The Group comprises 8 companies producing natural gas in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, including Well Co LLC, which produces gas at Uhnivska field under the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA). Zinoviy Kozytskyi also has a joint venture with the Czech MND - Horyzonty LLC.
As ExPro previously reported, BRSM will drill wells and produce natural gas.
