Ukrnafta announces that the office is blocked by armed men

Unknown people in the hallway of the Ukrnafta office noted that the company is not working today for "technical reasons", but it is not known what technical reasons are preventing the work of the office.
Ukrnafta PJSC announces that the central office was blocked by unknown armed men on the evening of November 8. The company announced this on its official Facebook page.
"This morning, employees and managers of the company were not allowed to work," the company said in a statement.
The company is concerned about the current situation.
According to Ukrnafta, representatives of the shareholders of Naftogaz of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense did not provide documents related to Ukrnafta's activities in the new format, and there are no court decision authorizing force actions either.
The evening before, information appeared in the media that Sergiy Koretskyi, the former general director of WOG, was to be appointed as the new chairman of the board of Ukrnafta. Currently, according to Youcontrol data, the chairman of Ukrnafta remains Oleg Gez.
As reported by ExPro, at a meeting on November 6, the NSSMC decided to ensure the forced alienation of the shares of Ukrnafta PJSC into the ownership of the state at the expense of the Ministry of Defense.
Until that time, the state, represented by Naftogaz, owned 50% + 1 share in Ukrnafta. At the same time, the oligarch Iпor Kolomoiskyi through his company owned about 42% of the shares.
Ukrnafta is the Ukrainian largest oil production company. According to ExPro, during the 10 months of 2022, the company produced more than 1.1 million tons of oil and gas condensate.
