Ukrgazresurs wins Ukrposhta’s tender for procurement of 3.5 mil cbm of natural gas

On August 21, 2018, the Ukrainian State Enterprise of Posts “Ukrposhta” (USEP “Ukrposhta”) held UAH 38.1 mil tender for procurement of 3.5 mil cbm of natural gas. The starting price at the bid auction was UAH 10,893 per 1,000 cbm of natural gas. USEP “Ukrposhta” purchased this volume of gas for heating of its facilities during the 2018-2019 heating season. The winner of the tender is to supply the contracted volume of gas within 10 days following the signature of the supply contract. The validity of the contract is till December 31, 2018.

There were 4 bidding companies for the tender: Ukrnaftoburinnya, OKKO Contract, Ukrgazresurs LLC, and ERU Trading LLC. After the official opening of the submitted bid proposals, it was Ukrgazresurs LLC who proposed the lowest quote of UAH 36.96 mil including VAT, thus offering 1,000 cbm for UAH 10,560. By way of reminder, last year Ukrposhta held 5 tenders for UAH 42.4 mil for procurement of goods and services. The latest two tenders were in December of 2017 for threshold of UAH 4 mil. The biggest procurement of Ukrposhta was in September of 2017 with a threshold of UAH 28.2 mil including VAT. The procurement contract was awarded to Ukrnaftoburinnya, who quoted UAH 8.850 per 1,000 cbm of natural gas.
