Ukrgasvydobuvannya acquired the Novodykanska area for UAH 739 million
On December 11, 2025, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC (Naftogaz Group) acquired a special permit for the use of subsoil of the Novodykanska area in the Poltava region for UAH 738.9 million (excl. VAT) at an auction held by the Ukrainian Geological Survey. This is evidenced by the auction results, ExPro reports.
The starting price of the area was UAH 369.45 million (excl. VAT). Two participants competed for the lot: UGV and Electronic Trading Technologies LLC (manager and owner – Viktoriia Sobchenko). State-owned UGV offered the best price, double the starting price, and won the auction. The validity term of the special permit is 20 years. The area size is 371.37 sq km.
The Novodykanska area is located within the Myrhorod and Poltava districts of the Poltava region. The subsoil plot is located within the Hlynsko-Solokhivskyi and Rudenkivsko-Proletarskyi oil and gas bearing regions in the southern near-edge part of the Dnieper-Donets Depression. The initiator of the bidding was Ukrgasvydobuvannya, which won the auction.
In total, on December 11, the Ukrainian Geological Survey offered 4 oil and gas licenses for sale: Novodykanska, Ostrivska, Veneslavivska, and Ispaska. The auction for the Ispaska area was cancelled before bidding began. The auction for the sale of the Veneslavivska area did not take place due to the lack of proposals from buyers.
As reported by ExPro, Nadra-Geoinvest acquired the Lyubynetska area in the Lviv region for over UAH 110 million in early December.
Recall that Ukrgasvydobuvannya acquired the Zakhidno-Mazharivska area in the Poltava region for UAH 1 billion in September 2024.
