UGV plans to purchase seamless casing pipes for UAH 890.92 million
On May 16, 2024, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC announced a tender for the purchase of seamless casing pipes with the coupling gas-sealed threaded connection. The tender was announced on the Prozorro platform with an expected value of UAH 890.92 million (including VAT). The total length of the ordered pipes – 195.55 km. The maximum delivery date – December 31, 2024.
The place of delivery – the storage facilities of Ukrburgaz (drilling division of Ukrgasvydobuvannya) in the Lviv, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions. Companies can submit bids until May 24, 2024; seek clarification or appeal the terms of the procurement until May 21, 2024.
The contractor shall produce seamless casing pipes with diameters of 177.80 and 244.48 mm and wall thicknesses of 10.36-13.84 mm. According to the tender documents, the pipes are to be manufactured following АРІ 5СТ standard with a material strength group not lower than P110 and a threaded connection class CAL II or CAL IV. UGV expects that the contractor will supply Ukrburgaz storage facilities with CAL II pipes (total length of 98.05 km) by September 30, 2024, as well as CAL IV pipes (total length of 97.5 km) by December 31, 2024.
On May 8, 2024, UGV last agreed with Interpipe Ukraine LLC to supply seamless casing pipes with the coupling gas-sealed threaded connection for UAH 15.94 million (including VAT). The delivery period – until August 30, 2024.
As ExPro previously reported, Vorex recently blocked Ukrgasvydobuvannya's procurement of seamless casing pipes through the court. In January-February, UGV held 4 tenders for the purchase of seamless casing pipes, which were won by Interpipe Ukraine LLC with a total offer of UAH 1.153 billion (including VAT). However, Vorex filed a complaint with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), claiming that the tender conditions were discriminatory. The AMCU dismissed Vorex's complaint, so the company appealed to the court. The court granted the application for securing the claim, which prohibits UGV from entering into contracts related to these 4 tenders until the case is resolved.
